Tea & Toast :: Kids Spaces

I hope you’ve got your kettle on and that toast’s in the toaster because today’s Tea & Toast will require some heavy duty sipping and nibbling – lots of inspiration ahead!

There’s something special, don’t you think, about decorating for kids. Perhaps it’s that chance to revisit our own childhoods and let our imaginations go a little wild. Or maybe it’s the pure pleasure we get knowing that children will be able to laugh and dream and imagine and rest in a space that we’ve created especially for them.

OK, so I’m gathering that tea’s been poured and the toast is now buttered???? Are you ready ….

What a cute idea this is. A doll house in a cupboard! Love it!

So what did you think? Any ideas for the kidlets in your life?

I certainly have. I can’t wait to decorate Lewi’s new room. He has some pretty strong ideas about what he’d like in it too. Think black and red. Bright and bold. I’m sure there’s room for a hint of vintage though too, surely?

Happy Tuesday!

There is so much to love about this post, where do I even start? Each image had me smiling.
Love the yellow lamp and the globe on the stand, very cool. That doll house cupboard is a fantastic idea also.
I think the vintage inspired rooms attract me more. I have lots of ideas on how to do Dawson's room it's just executing them.
You are going to have so much fun not only doing Lewi's room but the whole house Kim..really can't wait to see it.
