Don’t worry, it’s just the bit of our studio that will actually become shed storage when the new nest is built. I love these drawings – so deep and thought provoking. The first picture is called: “The Telling Tree”. Love the name of that!The next one is about a girl looking out to drought parched land and wanting it to rain so much and then it does. {Reminded me of The Lorax}. The third drawing is about how badly we are destroying our country with pollution and how Australia is getting ‘eaten up’ by the filth and devastation. No idea about the last one…get it, no ‘eye’ ‘dear’! – no, I’m really not sure what this one is about. Neither is Lew.

Dinner at a friend’s along with some DVD watching and computer fun together

Ummmmm….What else?

DVD watching – One Day, Into The Wild, The Truman Show

Lots of discussion about those movies.

Played: Skyrim, Minecraft

Viewed: Youtubed

Read together: Just Doomed {finished}, The Silver Door {began again}

Read: books on animals, Marvel characters, DC characters, Mass Effect {new book}

What do your kidlets get up to when they are at home and it’s windy and rainy outside?

those drawings are amazing so very deep and meaningful and what fun to be able to draw on the walls for a while :)
Love homeschooling flexibility. Your wintery day activities look fabulous. We have been eating similar warming, flu warding foods, watching The Little Prince, Mary Poppins and Arrietty, reading stacks of books and visiting the library and playdough creating...

Lovely and looks like a productive day despite being indoors. We've just had a total indoors day here too. Lots of reading, some puzzles, cars games, wrestling, watching a little bit of tele. I kinda like the cold days indoors actually xo

Sounds like perfect ways to spend rainy days. We like to read books and snuggle up on the couch with hot chocolate here :) Good smells wafting from the kitchen, promising heart warming, stomach filling offerings always is a winner too!
