This Weekend

I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has commented on my Compromise post the other day. You are all so supportive and helpful and kind and I’m so glad you pop by here.  I’m still not quite sure what to do but I definitely know one thing: sharing my journey with you via this blog is such a blessing. xxx

This weekend we:

~ Rearranged some plants that Lynda and I  picked up from our lovely friend, Rae, who has so graciously nurtured them at her place since we sold the purple nest and Lynda sold her nest.

~ Checked out the produce of neglected pots. {not the ones Rae looked after but the ones I’ve been not-tending}.

~ Pondered a pumpkin that Trish gave us. Pumpkin soup is on the menu for this week.

~ Mowed and tidied and straightened. I can’t begin to explain the feeling I got from having more tidying up happen and the long grass begin to become tamed with that blessing of all blessings, whipper snipper. The caravan is now straight and neat instead of all lopsided and looking like it was going to flip at any moment.

~ Went for a walk around our pretty neighbourhood.

~ Had a cuppa and began some serious new garden pondering.

~ Watched Sherlock Holmes 2 and was pleasantly surprised by it’s funniness and cool acting. Plus, I spied a gorgeous peaked timber arbour in the wedding scene. I’ve been googling like mad trying to find it but so far, no such luck.

~ Enjoyed yummy Chicken Paprika for our Sunday dinner.

How about you? What did you get up to on the weekend?
