On Your Bike

We’ve had a bit of a bike theme this week with our homeschooling buddies.

Our natural learners’ group met at the Tathra Skate Park earlier this week. The kids rode for the entire time we were there {except for a quick hot chips lunch break, of course!}.

After 6 months of a fairly non-outdoorsy existence {very unusual for my outdoorsy boy} at the rental property, it was so lovely to see Lewi enjoying the outdoors once more in such a physical way. He hasn’t been doing much riding lately and he wasn’t overly keen to bring the bike to Tathra but I’m so very thankful I talked him into bringing it anyway. It’s reignited his interest in riding again.

So, yesterday when Lewi’s friend, Ptolemy, came over to visit, they went for a ride around our new neighbourhood and down to the river.

Looks like we will be having a bike riding filled winter. And what a great bike riding road we live on.

That looks like so much fun! I have an outdoorsy little girl here - begs me to go outside with her rain, hail or shine! xx

Bike riding is so freeing, I love it!! How wonderful to have a great group to hang with and enjoy the outdoors.

Wow, what a BEAUTIFUL part of the world you live in! Jealous much! :) The tree lined lanes do just invite a bike trip I think! And winter can be such a beautiful, invigorating time of year to enjoy the great outdoors. Do you ride too, Kim? I've been contemplating the idea of getting myself a bike, and I haven't ridden since I was a child, so it's a kind of scary thought! :)

Oh you do indeed live in great bike riding terrain! What a delight. Soon you can all ride up the hill to us for a cuppa!
