Tea & Toast :: What’s Your Nesty Style. It’s Quiz Time

 

Today for Tea & Toast I thought I’d  change things around a little. I hope you don’t mind.

I thought it’d be fun to get you all involved in a little style quiz, just for starters. Then, when we know what style you are I’m going to take you on a fun style journey, over the next few weeks, to cover all of the 6 styles that the quiz will  cover.

 

Below is a list of 9 questions. Underneath that list will be the results which will tell you your nesty style. Please don’t scroll down to the results until you’ve finished answering the questions ‘cos that will spoil it all;)

 

When you’ve finished the quiz questions, count up the amount of A’s, B’s, C’s etc you got and work out which is the most common for you. Then scroll down and check the results to see what style you are.

Oh, and before we start, this quiz is only meant to be a bit of fun. There’s no boxing you in here. And I’m only an amateur quiz maker so this may not be the most accurate predictor of style duh!

Mostly A’s: Boho/Eclectic Nester ~You love to mix the old with the new. You love textures in your nest like crochet rugs, handmade feathery bits, and vintage linen. You also love anything Swedish and with a European influence. You’re just as at home in an op shop as you are in IKEA. Neutral walls with shots of colour and heavily patterned feathering bits around your nest are what you love. You like to blend feathery pieces you’ve collected from all over the place. Your nest is relaxed, comfy and quirky.

Mostly B’s: Modern Nester ~ You love all things new and contemporary. You love minimalism in your nest. Neutral colours. (as well as black and white) are your favourites. You love simple, clean lines and stainless steel appliances. The latest nesty technology is important to you. You love to shop in the city and like to have your nest looking up to date and streamlined always.

Mostly C’s: Rustic Earthy Nester ~ You love natural earthy, warm tones. You love eco friendly products and crave a healthy, wholesome nesting environment. Nests made of mud brick, stone, timber or straw bale are your favourites. You are a lover of home made feathering bits and pieces, timber and natural elements. You are partial to vintage and recycled treasures and you love feathering your nest with alternate wares from other cultures and lots of handmade.

Mostly D’s: Traditional Nester. ~ You love antiques and unique pieces for your nest. You especially love dark timber and heavy fabrics. Historical feathering bits and pieces adorn your nest. English style houses with ornate trimmings are your ideal nesting places. You are nostalgic and love bookshelves and old books, barley twist lamps, silver ware and chandeliers. Mostly E’s: Country Chic Nester ~ You love the Hamptons style of nest. You are an avid Country Style reader and Grand Designs fan. You are neat and ordered and love feathering by mixing modern-with-a-hint-of-country and vintage pieces. You love comfy sofas with lots of cushions. Honey coloured or painted white timber furniture are your ideal. You are partial to beige and grey and white. Lots of soft feathering bits and pieces fill your nest with a comfortable but chic feel. You like symmetry, balance and harmony in your nest.

Mostly F’s Beachy Nester ~ You love coastal living. Your ideal nest is filled with lots of windows and light. Views are important to you, especially a water view. Pale greens and blues and white are your favourite nesty tones . You love white washed furniture and naturally rustic timber. You are partial to cane and rattan and baskets. Driftwood and beachcombing treasures can be found around your nest. You like a casual and relaxed style.
