Flooding and whooping cough got a little in the way of my 1st of March birthday celebrations so I cancelled the dinner. The idea was to have it on a later date but then time just went on and on and it felt not so birthdayish anymore. A few stresses to add to the week and I thought about canning the whole thing.
But, at the 11th hour, I decided what the heck, and went ahead with booking a funky little cafe in town and texts some quick invites.
I’m so glad I went through with it. It was lots of fun. Low key, lovely company, music and food and vibe.

Thank you to everyone who made it out on Friday night. It was rainy and stormy and much like every other night these past few weeks. And thank you so much for all of your birthday wishes. It wouldn’t have been the same without you.
