Tea & Toast:: Shed Interiors

Hello there, this lovely Tuesday morning! I hope you’ve got something yummy to nibble and a hot cuppa in hand ready for Tea & Toast today.

Please forgive my themes over the next few months. I fear they will be totally, totally self-indulgent as I wade myself through the nest building journey.

So what do you think I may be thinking a lot about this week?

Yes, I think you’d be right in thinking SHEDS! I’m dreaming about them every night. And agonising over them during the day. The reason? Today is the day that our shed site is being levelled so it won’t be long before I’ll be needing to start on my own shed interiors.

I’m needing a little sheddy inspiration. I hope you get some inspiration here too.

Got your cuppa?

Come on then!

Oooh, I love these colours. Aren’t they soothing and summery? blue and green are definitely my favourite colour combo. Forgot that stupid little superstitious rhyme.

This one here is a teensy tiny little shed, the size of an old fashioned outdoor dunny. What a cute as sewing room it makes…

Even Roald Dahl had a shed. A writing shed where he whiled away his hours in cosy comfort. It’s so cute and so very English.

Although this image isn’t the best I love this next shed. It’s so rustic and comfortable. I love the trestle table and ladder to the side. What about that light? And the door? Love!

This next one is definitely more along the lines of barn conversion but it’s too gorgeous not to drool over here.

And how about this for a shed make over?

Well, that’s given me plenty to think about and loads of inspiration. I’m thinking lots of white for my shed {if it ends up getting lined, that is}. I’m thinking an  eclectic, rustic, thrown together sort of look. I’m thinking open plan. Concrete floors. Relaxed. Light absorbing windows. An old door somewhere. I’m thinking solid, sturdy, unbreakable. I’m thinking that I’d be happy with any of these Tea & Toast lovelies but particularly image 1 and 12.

Which one did you prefer?

Happy Tuesday!

I think I could live quite happily in any of them. That first picture I cut out of an American magazine years ago for one of my house scrapbooks.

Image 8 is my favourite, even though I quite like all of them. I do love a shed conversion. Look forward to seeing yours. Leahx

1-5 are my favorites.

Kim, could you please number them next time? I had to keep going back to the top and starting again. (LOL)
Well until I decided that 1-5 were my favorites that is.

Yah, levelling. It must be exciting for you to have some 'action' on the block!!

I was imagining sheds like the ones I have seen in real life. Masculine and full of tools and other clutter. Those are things of feminine beauty! Will you be living in a shed for a bit? x
