OK, so that’s a teensy glimpse into some of the learning experiences Lewi had this past week.
I also wanted to share a lovely link with you before I skedaddle. It’s a blog post that Jo, from Unbounded Ocean, wrote and I really, really love what she had to say.

There’s a lot of talk out there about labels and whether the term ‘unschooling’ is cool or not. Some prefer the term ‘natural learning’ while others are fully out there and happily call themselves ‘radical unschoolers’. I’d definitely say we are in the latter category and, as much as I don’t love boxing people in and labelling I do so love what it means to be a radical unschooler.

I hope Jo’s blog post clears a few things up when it comes to the reasons why we, who consider ourselves to be radical unschoolers, don’t mind the label at all.

Next week I’ll be back to talk about what unschooling isn’t. There are so very many misconceptions and I’d love to clear the air there.

Until next Monday, Happy Learning {it really is everywhere}!

Now it’s your turn. All you have to do is share something about learning this past week. It might be something your child has done or even something you’ve learnt. It might be an opinion that you have about learning be it home schooling or schooly based. Whatever you like really as long as it’s learning based!
If your not already following Feather & Nest then what are you waiting for? Go on, over you go and follow me. Then you’ve got all week to add your link here. Please, please join in!

Your next:

Kim xx
