It’s raison toast for me this morning and yes, again, I have my red stripy mug close by.
You guessed it - Tea & Toast time!
Today I wanted to spend some drool time looking at Garden Getaways and Temporary Living.
Why, you may ask?
Well, of course I love garden sheds and rooms. If you’ve been reading here for a little while now you’d know that I’ve done a post or two or three or more, in the past, about sheds and garden getaways. {here, here, here and here to name but a few}

I really, really love them!
But the other reason for me needing to revisit some of these inspirational garden getaways as well as finding some fresh, new ones, is because I will soon be dwelling in one myself.
Once the big move is all over Red Rover we will be living in a caravan…yikes!!on our block while my Dad builds us a shed come garden-getaway come temporary-living-space.
So, you can see my desperate need for Tea & Toast this week can’t you?
OK, here we go…
Outside meander first of all…

via a lovely, lovely blog called The Laurel Hedge

The lovely Leah from The Inside Story owns this gorgeous garden room that is her beautiful shop. Isn’t this just lovely?

Now, are you ready to take a look inside?

Oh…hang on…before we go inside, I wanted to tell you a little bit more about the gorgeous images you are about to see.
I found the owner of these delightful interiors here. A little bit of background for you - Dave Cootes is a furniture and interiors designer and, right now, I’m thinking that he’d have to be up there with my absolute favourite interior designers.
His rustic, simple and perfectly charming style is dripping with recycled empathy. He has a cabin range of images on his website that are out of this world gorgeous and so very ME!
Dave tailor makes these cabins out of salvaged treasures. I’ve added so many of his images here for our Tea & Toast today because they are just so divinely beautiful and inspiring and creative and, well…drool worthy. I’m hoping to end up with a Garden Getaway/Temporary Living Space that resembles something like these…drool away!
All right, back to our Tea & Toast adventure tour…

I’m loving white and panelled interior lining.

I’m loving rustic timber lining and metal fire places with logs of wood {minus the boar head…sorry, Dave but that just ISN’T me!}

I’m loving raked ceilings!

I’m loving that noginy frame work as shelving.

Again with the ceilings. Love!

Did you enjoy that? I so hope you found some inspiration from Tea & Toast today. I most certainly did – it’s all filed away ready for use…very, very soon!
Happy Tuesday!

Homemade bread fresh from the oven lathered with butter and jam and a mug of coffee beside me :)
Kim where do I even start? There are so many drool worthy images here..infact they all spoke to me in some way. Love the use of recycled timber...raked ceilings, panelled walls, framework shelves. I so can't wait till we are ready to build...it's in the ten year plan but hopefully sooner rather than later :)
Good luck with your move...look forward to following your building adventures.
