When I think of tea and toast I feel all warm and cosy and snuggly. Don’t you?
I want to go and grab my favourite tea cup, pour myself a nice hot cup of Twining's Irish Breakfast and make myself some hot, buttery raison toast or freshly baked sourdough drizzled with honey. Then I want to place it all on a lovely little tray for one and wander on into the lounge room where a nice big comfy arm chair awaits me. My favourite nesty magazine would be sitting right there at my fingertips ready to be perused at leisure while I enjoy my delicious tea and toast in a quiet retreaty bliss. My laptop would also be close by ready to surf some feathery and nesty eye candy. No one would be needing me for the next hour or so. Ahhhh……heavenly.
Wouldn’t it be lovely to have tea and toast like this, together, once a week? Just you and me and a bunch of lovely inspirational feathery and nesty things to drool all over. We could go on a vintage tour of treasures and nostalgia. Or maybe we could check out the prettiest table settings around. Perhaps we’d feel like meandering through someone else’s perfectly manicured garden or, better still, a wild and rustic one, over grown with time and childhoods’ spent.
So I’m wondering, if on Tuesdays, you’d like to sit with me awhile, with some tea and toast, in a comfy hangout and ponder all things feathery and nesty and homey and lovely? Just for a little moment or two while we nibble and sip and dream together. What do you think?

So I thought I’d start by saturating us in all the loveliness that can be found in the whole ritual of tea and toast because, after all, we’ll be drooling whilst sipping tea and nibbling toast!
Firstly, I think it’s only fitting that we use our most treasured mug or cup and saucer for our little bit of special time. Which one would you choose?
Now, do you like one lump or two?
And what about your toast? Do you like it with honey?
or jam?
Or perhaps you like bacon?
or eggs with yours?
How about raison?
Or cinnamon and sugar?
Maybe you’re needing a little extra goodness today and it’s a cupcake you’ll nibble on instead of toast – just this once.
Or maybe you’d rather a little nook?
Or perhaps you’d rather sit in the garden?
Or the verandah?

Kim, you had me at the title...then I read and saw all those AMAZING images and you had me hook, line and sinker!! What a wonderful idea :)
I have just discovered French Earl Grey from T2...it is divine and my new favourite, as for what to sip it with...anything a little sweet!
I am coming back to PIN alot of those pics, thanks for sharing.
