I’m playing along again with the lovely Bron over at Maxabella loves.
So what am I grateful for this week?
Well, I can’t say autumn again can I? Even though I was thoroughly in love with autumn yesterday when I walked along the lagoon, kicking crisp, golden leaves in my way, revelling in the season. I was so grateful to see the back of summer.
OK, so onto a different gratefulness {though I remain ever grateful for the autumn!}.

This week I’m grateful for new friends. Yesterday we met up with some new people who will be coming along to our natural learner’s group soon. The mum, Julie, has home schooled before for a couple of years with her older daughter {who’s now in Year 10 at school} but this will be the first time for her son, Rhys. What lovely people they are and what talent Rhys is. He’s a juggler. He juggles lots of balls and clubs and {poi??}. He’s also a fire twirler! He’s 12 years old!
He showed us his containers of tricks and tools and also how to juggle. His mum can juggle too and she patiently helped me learn how to do it. I think I need a little more practice.
I have a feeling that Lewi and Rhys will develop a great friendship. It’s so lovely to see my boy meeting new, exciting and really nice young people.
So, that’s what I’m grateful for this week.
How about you? Why don’t you play along over at Maxabella loves. Go on! It’s really fun.

How lovely, another boy for our boys to be friends with. I look forward to meeting Rhys and his mum. Can you believe, another Julie? xx
The top of your blog looks so... cute. Love the pink and green and love the flowers. Hope you have a lovely weekend. Isn't the rain beautiful and these cooler temps? I am having a laundry room clean out today and hope to get some new plants in the ground. xx
It's wonderful that you have a network of other home schoolies so your children can be together. Rhys sounds like a total character, perfect for Lewi (and call me if he ever juggles chickens!) x
Poi are fun! they are like balls on string! it is nice to have new friends!
It'll be cool when he gets the hang of juggling words and numbers too..lol! He sounds like a very talented youngster.
