I have been reading and lurking over at Fat Mum Slim for a long time now and I've been wanting to join in on Chantelle's Point & Shoot since the first time I laid eyes on it. So today's the day!
Fun, fun!
So the aim of the game is to post a photo from the weekend and share a bit about it.
So here goes...my first Point & Shoot.
This photo was taken outside of Bega. It's the road we travel to go swimming at the river. I love to drive out here. After we leave the town behind the stress seems to melt away and the views of hills and farming land give me a lovely tranquil feeling. It's an 'Ahhhhh' moment for me,looking at the country side. It brings back memories of growing up out of town, surrounded by the beautiful Brogo hills. The land around this little winding road is lush and filled, at the moment, with corn crops, beans and potatoes. On the other side of the road flows the Bega River. A little further along there are large bales of hay, sitting in neat lines ready to be picked up and taken to a shed somewhere. Higher up, in the hilly parts, are freshly slashed paddocks, contrasting with the unslashed ones. I love that look ~ a tapestry of fields like in a movie set somewhere in Tuscany.
Oh to be out of town!
