My thoughts are so gardeny at the moment. I think it's the thing I will miss most about leaving the purple nest. The Box Elders are a canopy of absolute shade and tranquillity at the moment. I can hardly even see Lewi jumping on the trampoline anymore. He even said yesterday that he was a 'little scared' under there as it's so dark. Well, wherever we end up after the purple nest, I can guarantee he won't need to fear any longer. There certainly won't be these beautiful shady beauty's. Argh! So sorry for my summery melancholy and moving murmuring.
Back to the picture. Isn't it lovely? I love sitting in the veggie garden and I love the idea of a veggie garden being a place of beauty not just a work space. This is something Sue Southam {Foxglove Spires} has really nailed. My favourite space in her lovely garden [which, by the way, is up for sale right now} is her 'working area'. She has her veggie garden all prettied up with upturned pots, pretty poppies, box hedge, roses in the background, a cute little seating area, rustic little wheelbarrows, a gorgeous museum display potting shed and the cutest little chook house.
