All strapped in and away we go...
First stop: Merimbula for some take away morning tea {strawberries, rockmelon, neenish tarts and croissants}.
Sorry, this is not meant to be a promo for McDonalds but...this has to be the best McDonald's view in the world! It overlooks the gorgeous Merimbula Lake. No wonder it does a roaring trade. {I'm sure it's all to do with the view and nothing to do with the cheap and nasty food??? Agh...did I say that???}
Through Merimbula we went.
Next stop...
Oaklands, Pambula where we had morning tea and a cuppa with Dad who was working in Joanne's shop.
I couldn't resist snapping some pickies of a cute little felt goat,
and a very cute mini spinning wheel...
Then we checked out the Oaklands nursery.
And the Animal Farm. ![]()
Where we saw the cutest bunch of newly born bunnies!
And some sweet little ducklings.
And this cute little guinea pig and rabbit hutch. I love that metal bucket!![]()
And we played with some cute little puppies. {Meily wanted another puppy today...today it was a foxy. Last time it was a staffy.}
Then we went and checked out the Community Gardens.
And spotted a really cool pond,
which was chocka block filled with fish.
I couldn't resist this old pink car.
After farewelling Dad we headed back to Merimbula where we bought some lunch at the local bakery.
After a long, fun day out we went to Rae and Rom's for dinner. We had the yummiest baked dinner ever followed by strawberry cheese cake and Rae's famous fudgy chocolate slice. YUM! {Thanks for having us, girls xx}
Rae's been busy in her new garden making paths and edges. Don't they look great and oh, so very affordable!
A lovely day all round.
