I had lots of fun at my last garage sale haunts. These beautiful little pieces are now happily feathering my nest:)
Here they are in more detail.
Union Jack. What a find!!! This is my find of the year, so far. ...I've been looking for one of these for Lewi's room for a long time now. So lovely. It was very dusty...all those wars, I'm sure. The holes...do you think they are bullet holes? I'm positive they are;) I bet if this flag could talk it'd have a few stories to tell us. If not, I bet I could make some up.
Gorgeous cream bowl. This bowl, although chipped, looks beautiful on my kitchen bench. At the moment it's filled with green apples and pears. It's 33cm wide...lovely and big. In its' day it would've made some humongous cakes!
A cute Agee dish. Lynda told me it was actually the lid off a casserole dish and she's right. You could use the lid as a dish too. So practical in the good old days...
Everyone needs an Eiffel Tower...or two.
I love these Twining tins. I love how Allison Jones used them as herb containers for her kitchen window sill. I put Lewi's newest cactus in it.
6 green Johnson Bros plates...more for my collection.
2 big green Johnson Bros plates and 1 pink one which I gave to Sarah.
Bring on the weekend....happy garage saleing to you all!
