I love the term 'craft room'. It's fairly American, we don't really call them that here in Australia, but I like it because it can mean all sorts of things. It could mean a studio or study room; an art room, a sewing room, a scrap booking room, a kids play room, a space for building and making. It can mean pretty much anything.
I love the way these creative people have displayed and organised their craft rooms. Everything is so ordered and easy to find, making the space a wonderfully easy place to work in, yet they look absolutely beautiful as well. I love the layers of colours and textures that things like ribbon and fabrics bring to a space. I love the light, light, light! These rooms are filled with natural sunlight which would make them enticing spaces to hang out in. I don't have a craft room in my nest but it's something I plan on having someday.....for now I'll drool over these lovely ones!
